Liberate Your Art postcard swap 2013 & {a giveaway}

It has been a LONG while since i last posted here.. I am sorry for my silence.. I hope to make it here more often.. I have so much to share since my last post of my 12.12.12 in december.. life has been very busy.. we welcomed a beautiful little boy to our family in february and i have lots of photos and news to share about my photography as well.. I'm starting off with a big hello & a post for a blog hop in the liberate your art postcard swap I so enjoyed being a part of it last year that i couldn't resist joining in again..its so much fun! So without rambling on too much more..here are the beautiful cards i received this year..all these images were shared on my instagram @magnetisedbylife with the #liberateyourart group tag..

the first card received was a mixed media collage piece from Terry in Minnesota

my second card was an artwork from Carlyn the card reads 'In art, as in love, instinct is enough' Anatole France

the third one a beautiful mixed media art came from Linda who is a friend of Patty who i received a card from last year & now follow on instagram {small world}

my fourth came from Tracy in Virginia which is a page from a journal in her sketchbook project

my fifth arrived from Lynne in Pennsylvania..i am excited to be awaiting a package from her etsy store including a little clutch bag made from this original piece of canvas art

and my last card received was from lovely Kat the creator of this project to liberate all this wonderful art into letterboxes across the globe..I have taken & can recommend Kats wonderful series of find your eye photo courses..i completed a photojournal which made me look at my photography in a whole new way..Thanks Kat!!

one day on earth 12.12.12

This week there was a day in history that i wanted to make an effort to record..12.12.12..my day was very ordinary..i had to work that evening..so my day would mostly be spent around home relaxing with my family..i wanted to get up early & capture the morning light too..so i headed out to the beach while my house slept..i am working on putting together my first slideshow for one day on earth & was inspired by this post by Xanthe Berkeley to join in..its slowly coming together & i can't wait to share it!
