magnetised by life: participation

Photography is not a fleeting passion, it is not an infatuation, it is not a crush. Because once you are taken by it, once it grabs you, it will stay with you for the rest of your life. Maybe you will neglect it from time to time, maybe even for a long period, but afterwards you will return to it, because you know it is yours and yours alone. Because the photo you have taken, or will take, belongs to you: it represents what you saw, felt, sensed in one particular moment, which can almost never be repeated.
